Looks like a mature male. What region are you in? What species might it be?
It is in a defensive curl, trying to "hide" from the huge predator that just cornered it.

Moisten your substrate it looks too dry. It is a Philippine species and will appreciate a moist surrounding. Try putting a slanted or vertical piece of bark. If it is what i think it is then it might be semi-arboreal

I was guna say the substates a little dry but thought it might be something just grabbed as a temporary measure lol

She is a beautiful tarantula. Maybe you could give her some place to hide so she feels more secure. Congratz on your golden knee. they are truely awesome tarantulas. I have one myself named Strider. friendly little fellow. :)
