How long can slings go without eating?

My B. smithi sling has refused to eat the past couple of times I offered him a roach (maybe about a week since it last ate). I think he's in premolt right now due to a dark spot on his abdomen, so I'm not worried, but I was wondering how long slings can go without eating before you start to worry? Mine's about 1.5" right now.

Probably 3 weeks before you start to worry. If you start to notice that it's thinning, that's worrisome.

Nah, it's actually still quite fat. I just wanted to ask before a problem had time to creep up on me.

Sometimes I don't get around to feeding my .75" slings for a week or so- I know I should do it more but they seem fine, they just grow a bit slower
