I found an amazingly frazzled Aphonopelma species, walking across my driveway and thought maybe a neighbor had lost a pet. Went to the neighborhood lost and found, but no one had lost a tarantula. I went back outside and sat and watched it for quite a long time, and concluded it was wild. After extensive internet research, I was hooked and had to have one. Did more research on husbandry, and finally went to the pet store to peruse the selection. Came home with a Rose hair! I am one of several tarantula advocates in the neighborhood so folks have someone to.call for removal services. Twice a year, the males are out looking for the ladies. Love seeing them everywhere. No, I wouldn't remove one from the wild and put in an enclosure.

One day, I was on YouTube scrolling to random video when I suddenly saw a Exotics lair (great channel ) video about watering his tarantulas. I quickly found myself fascinated and started watching more videos. I bought my 1st T about a month later and ever since then, I started collection. My 1st T was a pulchra

I had and irrational fear of spiders, I don’t like to fear anything so I started reading about tarantulas and watching videos
The more I learned the less I feared them. And the more amazing I realized they are
Then I made the leap a year ago and got myself a Brachypelma boehmei sling and now I’m obsessed and can’t get enough
