Can house flies be used as a food option for Avicularia versicolor slings? I have way too many flies right now and want to put them to good use.

As long as you can be 100% certain that they haven't been in contact with any pesticides they should be ok although I don't know about the nutrition value of them.

I have them for my mantis. I hatch them out, put them in a giant deli cup with a hole on top and a plug. When the time comes, I quickly unplug the hole and get a smell deli cup to put over it. Usually I can do this with no flies flying out. Then, I put the lid on the small deli cup rather quickly. Say I have 6 flies. How am I going to put all of them in my enclosure? I now walk to the front porch and put them out in the cold for a minute so they're inactive. This is when I put them into enclosures.

Excellent! I see some fat flies when the weather is good, I never thought about using them as prey.

My sling ate a fly! It looked way to small to feed her though. This sling runs away from crickets while the other one attacks it as soon as it's dropped in.

The sling will only eat flies. Just fed it 7 flies and it isn't interested in a cricket. The sling is a good size too!

I've been feeding my arboreal T's, green bottle, blue bottle and house flies. The feeding response is amazing. after initially feeding them wax moths to great success, I realised that the arboreals prefer flying insects.

Bit of a long one, but well worth the watch:
