Hi my name is Aaron, anyways I have a pink toe tarantula and I think it is dead?! It did the death curl about a week ago. I remember my cousin came in my room a week ago and he look at it, 2days later he said "hey cousin I think you're spider is dead because the last time I was here it(my tarantula) was in the same spot. I didn't think anything of it (I have had my pink toe for about 1 ½ years). I did give it water and sprayed down the cage that day because I did get a little worried. 2 days later I got more scared so I touched Chocolate (my tarantula) and it was hard, that's when I pronounced my tarantula dead. I was planning on burying that day but I had left to stay with my sister for a couple of days. I got home today and placed it in a box and buried it. After a little thought came into my head, what if it wasn't dead? So that's when I Googled: Is my tarantula dead?. I learned the term "death curl" and found out it might not be dead. I also found out that you can save it by putting it in ICU. I don't know why I didn't think of that, I have put it in ICU before but only because it was cold. IS IT TOO LATE? I'm not at my house anymore, I came to my father's house for the night. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SHOULD I GO UNBURY CHOCOLATE? OR IS IT DEAD?? The only thing I am scared of is unburying chocolate like a crazy person, only to find out it was really dead and having to go through this pain twice, I already feel like it's my fault then if I unbury it and it is dead I will feel bad for not letting my baby rest in peace. The reason why I buried chocolate was because I love it, and it has been with me through every thing and BECAUSE I FIGURED THIS WAS MY FAULT AND AT LEAST I COULD DO WAS GIVE IT A BEAUTIFUL FUNERAL TO REST IN PEACE. WHAT SHOULD I DO SOMEONE HELP, IS IT DEAD OR CAN I STILL SAVE IT??? This is my first time posting to any forms and this was my very first and only tarantula I have had. Please help and thank you.
