Hello everyone,

I started keeping snakes around 2001, since then it had its ups and its downs. I moved from one part of the country to another about to be able to continue my hobby, since the laws in that area got so crazy I had to let go of pretty much all my reptiles.

About 3 years later with no pets besides my dogs left and recently moving to JHB, ZA, we attended the SoS2 Expo here. I saw a beautiful RTB, and my wife got herself a Mexican Red knee ( b. smithi ) really beautiful on the Saturday. The next day she decided that her vivarium was nog large / pretty enough and got a really nice one.

Since we did not want an empty vivarium she decided to get me one, and she came back with a lasiodora klugi, and I have to say, they are really intriguing animals. So I will upload a few pictures of our setup and most likely get some advice, since both of us are brand new to this.

Bummer about the reptiles but things happen for a reason. Welcome to the fascinating world of Tarantula's!
