I have joined this site to expand my horizons on Tarantulas. I have owned T's on and off most of my life. Now that I am retired and have time to spend with them I have a small collection of 17. I like and have mainly terrestrial specie such as Grammostola and Brachypelma. I do have a beautiful Lasiodora parahybana and P irmenia as well as Tliltocatl albopilosus and vagans. I have raised several sings but just can't seem to keep a Pinktoe specie alive. I have an M robustum because I like the way they look. I have two Neoholothele incei the gold and olive. I also have a Chromatolpelma cyaneopubescens I raised from a sling as well as a Cyriscosmus elegans I really like the dwarfs. And finally I have two Aphonopelma one seemanni and one chalcodes. I live on a cattle farm and have a cat and several dogs as well as of course a bunch of cows. I starting collecting in 2019 and have enjoyed having them around to learn from and show to whoever wanders over this way. I do have two T seladonia ordered but have yet to get them, I am hoping sometime soon. The longer I wait the more apprehensive I get when I see posts about people who got them and they have died quickly. I enjoy going to Tarantula shows and having lunch with my girlfriends.

Welcome to the forum! I'm a country girl, too! I was raised on a farm with all kinds of animals. We even grew our own food in a garden! I'd love to see pics sometime! It's so nice to have you here. Once you start collecting tarantulas it's kinda hard to stop, lol. I wish you many more species to come! :)

Welcome to the forums. I'd love to see some pictures of your tarantulas if you get a chance.

Welcome! I'm in Iowa too... not a farm girl; though, I've had my share of work on them throughout the years helping friends or family. Are you planning/hoping to breed the T. seladonia? It's difficult to find people here who appreciate the hobby.
