had heart attack early hours this morning, woke up to the sound of Pasha (a four yr old ex show/breeding french bulldog) that i adopted last month, munching away on something and licking her lips. I know she had eaten all her supper before i went to bed and i didnt leave any human food out so went to investigate. Couldnt see any crumbs so went to go back to bed, walked past spider tanks on the way up and thought Audreys tank was empty! Panic set in as it gave me a flash back of Marilyn escaping last yr. took lid off tank to double check, still no sign and Pashas still licking her lips and looking incredibly happy. Needless to say i started saying "oh f@#k" over and over. Genuinely thought pasha had eaten her. I moved Audreys plant and flower pot again. I started crying. Could hear pasha eating again, so go looked under the coffee table where she was lying, and saw she had broken open the cats bag of dreamies treats. Relieved I sat there baffled for a while so started tearing living room apart looking for Audrey, half an hour later i took lid back off tank to put her flower pot back into place properly and saw a foot sticking out of the substrate, the lil moo had burrowed! Never seen her do it before and substrate didnt look diff or moved from when i went to bed so didnt even think she had burrowed. So she obviously had moved substrate and made her lil entrance hole (it was in corner behind the flowerpot) a few days ago but not gone down there and stayed out posing so that i didnt notice the diff in substrate arrangement.
