Grumpy Grumpy Miss Thing

I don't understand it, Bella has been an absolute angel since my husband and I got her. But the past day or so she's been so grumpy, She hasn't bit me or my husband (we tried to do our normal handling) but tried to flick her hair (unsuccessfully). We left her alone and tried again today... Same thing. She's eaten normal, has plenty of water in her sponge...the only thing I can think of is my husband did accidentally break her fake rock. We took it out and planned on getting her something better in the next day or so. But if she doesn't check her attitude we won't buy her something (this is a bad spider parenting joke I promise). Any ideas??

Our T's get a little skittish when they are getting close to premolt but still eat at the beginning. Or she might just be having a moody day or is tired. Just like we aren't always in a good mood they fluctuate too.

What kind of t is she? She could be premolt. How long have you had her? Sometimes they seem docile and calm, then they settle in and don't want to be bothered. No telling what she is up to. Oh, and I would ditch the sponge. A nice dish of clean water will be appreciated.

Take the sponge out! It's a breeding ground for you tarantula and Ts can't even drink from a sponge. Just give her a normal water dish. As far as her attitude, her previous actions mean nothing. She might be the sweetest thing you've ever had but their moods can change incredibly quickly. Especially if she's a G. rosea (they tend to be a bit bi-polar).
