Good size waterdish?

Is a 2x2 inch shot glass a good water dish for a 4 inch tarantula?

It looks a bit big and deep, and you would have to sink it into the substrate. I would recommend bottle caps or juice caps, they would also be easier to clean.

I find things like peanut butter lids make decent & reasonably large water dishes. The only dish bigger than a peanut butter lid that I use, is with my 9 inch stirmi & she has a shallow (2 inch deep, by 3 X 5.) sandwich/ kitchen container & I use that because it is bigger & thus keeps the humidity up.
