Sometimes it takes a while for them to settle in and start webbing.

I've had mine for a couple months I bought my gbb at a show it was already about two or two and half inches

I'd be partial to Monocentropus balfouri for a first old world. They can be fast, but not typically full of rage like an OBT. It's also a great looking t.

Balfouri for sure. Never ever had any issue at all. I started off with nothing but Asia old world so I'm comfortable with the attitude and speed. An obt I would not recommend unless you feel your ready. I've honestly got chilobrachys haunin that put an obt to shame.
