I got 3 G.pulchripes from CreaturesFromTheNorth. The arrived well packed, warm, alive and active when rehoused. I also got a free L.parahybana sling.

This is the female, she went exploring up the side, trying to escape at first:

This is one of the unsexed:

The other unsexed is hiding in its hide

and finally the sling who Im not even sure I will be able to get appropriate food for!

Nice haul!

Freeze a few mealworms and feed your tiny cut chunks of frozen dinner. Remove any uneaten after 25 hrs

Congrats. Pulchripes is an awesome species. She looks a little hungry though. Should be a fun dinner time!

Yeah I mean I'm tempted to feed them to make them comfy and a full belly to settle down sated, but the advice I seem to have concluded was to give them approx a week to settle in once you get them.
I got them Wednesday so I would feed them Monday I think. However they always have water of course.
If people here who are more experienced (IE almost everyone lol) I'm happy to reconsider!

A week is fine. No harm waiting. My rule of thumb is if I see them take to a burrow or start making a web hide in the first day or two they’re settled enough to eat. But I would bet my house, car, dog, and pay check for a year that pulchripes will take a cricket.

Yeah 1 went into the hide straight away and is now exploring, another was exploring and still is, and the last was exploring straight away and is now in a hide so i think they are settling in
