Until recently my H. sp columbia has been one of our most active T's. It seemed to always be walking around putting a little webbing here or there. The last couple weeks it's been in hiding. I assume it will be molting soon...hopefully it will come out again afterwards.

Good luck stopping your collection there Kormath!

How did you create that spoiler T list. I tried to get a link in my signature but no joy so far.

They're a dwarf (around 2" dls) and the Phlogiellus sp. baeri that I already have has been easy, she came as a juvi and has always had a good appetite. She's webbed quite a bit but doesn't hide away.

Oooo, I'd feel so much better if it is :D

Lol i love it! you guys crack me up :D

So to be totally honest. My current must have list is complete. But I still have the dream of owning every Brachy species out there though, plus i have to get the Phormicoptus or however you spell that, since one of them is purple ;)

Now back to that honest part. One reason i'm done for now is my roof leaked this spring with the first thaws and the landlord has sent in Service Master people to tear apart the front walls so the water damage can dry. So i'll be without adequate insulation in my room and the living room for a few weeks while it dries and they replace the sheet rock and fix any damaged/warped wall studs.

I may have to live in a hotel a week or so for this as they'll most likely have to replace the carpert in my bedroom (mold and mildew stains near the wall where the moisture was absorbed) and part of the hardwood flooring downstairs near the front door that the moisture has caused to buckle up at the seams. So that's the biggest reason i'm mostly done ordering Ts.

I'm thinking, once this hassle of getting everything repaired and cleaned up is over, i might have to buy that P. sp green and sp. purple the guys have been taunting us with ;)

The other reason i'm done buying for a while, is once all of my slings reach juvi sizes and can move into their adult enclosures, I'll have no room to put any more Ts in my small townhouse. Right now the little 4x and 3x enclosures fit quite well on my dresser lol. But where the hell am i going to put them all when they're adults in 12x18x10 type enclosures? I"m going to have to build shelves and put mucho holes in the new walls. That's going to go well with the landlord lol.

Yep it would, but i have no place to put one. my son and i basically live upstairs in the bedrooms, usually only downstairs in the kitchen cooking dinner, or my son will lounge on the couch if none of his friends are online on the xbox one. The downstairs temps flucuate too much to keep the Ts down there. The front door doesn't close tight (especially now the frame is warped from the moisture) so the insulation strips are worthless. The front picture window is single pane, so in the winter we cover that with 2 sleeping bags to reduce the amount of cold air coming in. Helps a little bit ;) Before we started doing that you couldn't sit on the couch in the winter without a coat on, that window has 0 insulation.

Summertime is just as bad the window and doors can't keep the heat out, so it get's pretty damn hot down there. I have portable swamp cooler to keep the humidity up for my son's nose bleeds and to cool off the upstairs. So all the room i have for the Ts are in my son's and my bedroom.

Got my computer desk i can use and will have to build shelves above it to hold the collection. Good thing is i have a few years since i have mostly Brachy's ;) And who knows, maybe i'll find a house by then and have plenty of space to get more T's

Well, I am actually and honestly running out of space with my current collection as I don't have a T room... yet. So there, it helps much with the discipline and will power thing. :)
