I second Davus, Avicularia (really you need at least one!), Xenesthis and Phormictopus (am a big fan!).

For african, my Heteroscodra maculata is one of my favourite. If you like diggers, Pelinobius muticus is interesting (but I never see mine).
For asian, what about a pretty Chilobrachys fimbriatus?

The more I've been reading about the E. campestratus the more I've been wondering why I waited so long to get one.

Why not a native one, like A. chalcodes or anax?

One of my favorites, A. seemanni. Ferocious during feeding, but very curious when doing maintenance. Always coming out to see what's going on.

How about a couplel more of the brachy "reds"
Boehmei
Emelia
Also.....
Mexican Golden Red Rump (Brachypelma albiceps)
H. Pulchripes
Blue fang (Ephebopus cyanognathus)
A. Diversipes and A. Purpurea as mentioned by others
Thrigmopoeus psychedelicus (if the budget will stretch!)

I must get myself an ockerti I reckon, that seems very popular here too ☺

T. Gigas (fast growing, great display species)
G. Actaeon (beautiful, great eater, gets big and bulky)
A. sp Amazonica (grows nice and big, beautiful colours)
B. Boehmei (IMHO, followed by the B. Auratum the best looking Brachy)
