estimating age of my pink toe

I'm courious to know roughly how old my pink toe is. It appears small to what I have read, but I may have misunderstood the process of measuring to gauge age. The coloring of it (according to what I read at least) puts it in the adult area.
I'd like to have the opinion of someone who knows these little ones.
Thanks

Its completely impossible to guess the age of a T based on size. Temps, availability of food, sex and genetics all play huge roles in growth rate.

Yeah, unfortunately once a T is an adult it's impossible to tell age for sure. When they're younger you might be able to make a guess, although even then it's pretty dubious. You might try to find out the T's year of hatching from the last owner, if possible.

I got this one at pet co so I doubt there's any record of hatching. but thanks for the info. I think when I set up for the next one ill go to one of the sites that have been reviewed here

I got all my Ts from Jamie's Tarantulas...she has been able to fill me in on their ages when I've asked, if not the exact hatch year then an estimate at least (because some of them are wild-caught).
