Hello all! I recently purchased my first T and the more u read, the more I’m worried my enclosure is too big. I’m not sure if it’s age, but it’s pretty small. I have included a pictures near my finger for scale. He is currently in a tarantula crib - medium cuboid (9x7x6). Since I was doubting the size, I recently purchased another tarantula crib - small slider crib (6x4x4), but it seems SO small. My T seems okay in the larger one, and has dug a burrow and eaten a few meals in the few weeks I’ve had him. I guess my question is, should I keep him in the larger one or move him to the smaller one? Thank you everyone!

I see no reason to rehouse as long as your comfortable feeding and keeping track of your T. I recently housed my King Baboon sling into a bit oversized enclosure and almost re-housed! So glad I didn't! The little guy/gal has tunnels everywhere and has made the most of all that copious space! Your T will grow into it anyway but that's just my take on oversized enclosures. Happy Spoodering!!

Thanks so much! If anything I just may add some more substrate for him. I appreciate you taking time to read my post and answer!

My pleasure! This forum is a great place for answers and there's a lot of serious long time keepers here giving great advice. Happy Spoodering!
