Egg sac day 30

It's been 30 days. I know I was super freaked out when Curly made an egg sac, but the anxiety turned into anticipation and excitement.
Is it supposed to look so dirty and blah? She rolls it around in the dirt all day, but photos I've looked at seem fluffier and whiter. I know I initially hoped it was a dud, but now that they have a home, I sort of want babies darn it.

Congratulations!

You going to pull the sack or let them hatch out with mom?

I'm (sadly) not convinced it's viable, but I plan to pull it on Wednesday morning after work. It may take me some time to snag it since she moved it under ground yesterday. Hoping she wont put up to much of a fight. She's gonna be so mad at me!

Yes, she will, but that's how it goes. She will get over it. Feed her shortly after pulling it.

If it is fertile then you will probably have N1 (eggs with legs) at this point, turning to N2 within the next week or so depending on temperature. However, I would expect the sac to be more round and fuller looking at this point if it was fertile. So unless it is just a small sac, the chances are it is not likely going to be fertile and you will have a cluster of dry or black eggs. Hopefully though it's just a small sac.

I was feeling brave this morning so I took away her sac. I knew it wasn't good before I even opened it. It felt hard. I had a clump of hard, black infertile eggs. I'm sad. She's upset. She was such an attentive little mommy. And now I want babies.
Not that I have ANY business having baby T's. Slings make me nervous. The idea of a female harming a male during mating because I wasn't experienced hurts my heart. I don't know anything about selling or shipping. *sigh* maybe one day...
Guess I'll just have to go buy some more slings to overcome my feelings of loss.
