Drainage for enclosures

Does anyone need or use small drainage holes for Jamie's juvenile enclosures? I noticed what appeared to be standing water in the bottom of my scorpling's burrow. After tilting it sideways carefully, some water did drain out.

I think that some of the moss near the water dish might've drawn water into the substrate.

Although adding such holes is unlikely to cause harm, I'm wondering if there are any gotchas for that. Just like with potted plants, the cage would sit in a tray obviously.

The scorpling proceeded to re-enter it's burrow.

We have a layer of gravel in the bottom of Scorps container under the coco fibre.
