Hi all
I not a tarantula but a true spider and not sure where to put this thread.
I have been sent a Cupiennius salei microscopic sling freebie with my last tarantula order.I am new world tarantula keeper and this came as total surprise to me.
It is super tyni(see pics below for reference), scatty and bolty.I have 2nd moult crickets and springtails as pray in case it dont want to scavenge feed.It is housed in 25ml vial atm.
I was wandering if anyone can give me any tips how to contain the little bugger during feeding time and maintenance as is so small I can barely focus on it and is basically teleporting around the enclosure if any disturbance.

I'd say if your feeding it springtails tap a load in at once so it can eat as much as it likes and any left will be fine in the vial till it's hungry again and maybe place the vial in another container that you can quickly place a lid on if it was to get out.

Hi all
The little one has settled a bit and hides behind the cork bark instead of bolting around the enclosure.
No springtails needed for this little bugger.
Fed him today a small cricket (3-4 times bigger than its body)with crushed head and it tackled in the air before it touched the bottom of the vail then pulled it on the cork to munch on it.

Next challenge is to get the bolus out.lol
