These bits can also drill into less then half an inch of concrete and porcelain. I wonder if they could do tempered glass anyway.

It might even be worth an experiment!!

Feel free to try that experiment, just be sure to wear safety goggles because it won’t work.

Tempering of glass makes the outer surface compresses and the center is under tension. After its tempered, it is tougher but any puncture will shatter it. Thats why you only have to hit a piece of car window glass in one spot for the whole thing to shatter into little discs.
