Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens sling or sexed juvenile

Hi there

I’m fairly new to the hobby and just wondered if anyone knows what the chances are of getting a female GBB from a sling, I’m debating whether to buy a sexed female for my second T or take my chances with a sling and enjoy the process of raising it from a small sling and learn a bit along the way. Is it fair to say it would be 50/50 or is one gender more prominent within the species?
Any advice/opinions would be much appreciated

I always purchase at least 5 slings but alot of other people say 3. I'd rather end up with a extra female or two to make my money back and then some.

On average how many out of your 5 do you usually have turn out to be female?
