I've been visiting Japan frequently due to my job. I can find these in the local stores and shops. Anybody familiar with these? I was wondering if I can use this to gut load my roaches??

It's made of jelly.

I use normal unflavored oatmeal primarily and sometimes carrots or some sort of vegetable. The substrate for my colony is oatmeal they always have food.

I believe it was Martin that suggested I use oatmeal for my substrate. I went out and got 3 large containers of Quaker oatmeal and dumped it all in the 15 gallon tank.

Hello
I did suggest the oats or oatmeal,it really gutloads and of course instant safe substrate that doesn't need change since it's eaten up. We've used this with a lot of roaches, dubias Turkistan and lobsters as well.

Been working for me so far just waiting for all my female to get a bigger so the breeding starts. Then i will start using them for food instead of the stinky dangerous crickets.

I am curious what the active ingredients are of this beetle food.
I read the packaging, or at least part of it since not all Japanese characters I can understand.. it mentions balance nutrients, vitamins, amino acids, complex sugar.. to name a few.. not so sure if it would do good on roaches..

I seldom feed crickets too.. especially the females.. I had a couple of enclosures filled with baby crickets after feeding my T's..
