That was a fantastic read. Is it me or did that paper seem more directed at hobbyists than most? There was a lot of useful info in there, as well as interesting things like the tree ants..anymore links like that are welcome :D
It does have some good stuff, but some of it is outdated as I said before. The T. pupreus and A violaceus were reclassifed to T. violaceus.

I thought you wanted to know the difference between Tapinauchenius plumipes and Tapinauchenius cupreus though?
I did, and I did read that part, but since they did a reclassification, I thought it might be possible they added or did more stuff with other species within the genera.

No when E. violaceus was transferred to Tapinauchenius it was because it was part of a review of the Ephebopus genus rather than anyone working on Tapinauchenius directly. I don't know if anyone is working on a revision of the Tapinauchenius genus but other than the article I posted earlier, the only person that seems to have worked on them lately is Schmidt :(

Ah, thanks for the clarification! I just knew it had been changed, but I wasn't sure from which end. But regardless, Tapinauchenius are lovely and my favorite and I want to collect them all haha.
