Found this guy walking down the middle of the road. Figure its male because I believe this is breeding season but could be wrong. Any ideas?

It almost looks like an Aphonopelma Hentzi from the photo. I could be wrong but it is similar in color to my A. Hentzi I caught in the wild

I think the die part is when the female eats him after mating. That is a definite possibility
