Hi All,
I am looking into getting a T. I would be a first time owner. I do have Blue Death Feigning Beetles, a Blue Tongue Skink, and a Redfoot Tortoise. So as you can tell I love unique pets. I want a T. next.
Here's my first issue: I can't decide which type to get. I have researched and talked to a few people and had some great recommendations but it just gets hard deciding on one.
Here's my criteria: I want one that is very docile. I have two young sons and I teach school and would love for it to be an educational pet BUT I would not let my sons or students handle it. I would like one that doesn't require high humidity. Size of enclosure and cost are no issue.
So in saying all that here is a list of probable candidates that I like so far:
*Brachypelma albopilosum
*Grammostola pulchripes
*Caribena vericolor

Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
