I was just wondering if there where any good beginner arboreal Ts outside of avicularia? I've got nothing against them just not a big fan of there fluffy look :)

Most arboreals don't fall under the "beginner" tier of Ts, unfortunately.

Most are at least as "advanced" as the Psalmopoeus species, which aren't at all hard to keep, but can be fast and defensive.

That's what I assumed but I wasn't really sure, aside from dry sub and lots of cross ventilation do avics have any other special needs?

I've never had Avics myself, because like you, I'm not a fan of their looks. However, that's what I've heard is key; a lot of cross-ventilation and not over-soaking the sub.

water dish, dry sub, and the occasional misting is fine. Make sure there's plenty of ventilation and anchor points for webbing.
