hi guys/girls.
So I checked on my B.Emilia this morning and her hide has caved in. She has been digging for a few days now. I can't see her anywhere in the hide so I think she is under the substrate..

This happens occassionally, they dig in and will dig back out. Had the same experience with a P. muticus about a month ago. Seen it had collapsed, the sling was moving about under the sub, left it alone. The next day it dug an opening to the opposite corner.

I would check on it in a day to see if any of the sub near its hide has been disturbed. If not, and you're really concerned, use a brush and gently remove the sub until you see it.

Hope it pops up for you soon. [emoji4]

I've also seen my Ts go through this. They usually dig themselves out without too much effort. Keep us updated on how your T is doing - I'd expect her to surface soon! :)

Great news. It's always worrying when you can't see them but if they can dig down then they can dig back up.

It's driving me nuts, lol. My A. Versi has quite a large web tunnel which he (or she) has decorated with substrate. I'd not seen him for days because he went quite deep down into it and have to keep telling myself it's only premolt! I briefly saw a couple of blue legs pop up today (first I've seen of him in days) and then him turning around to web a little, so I know he's alive, but I can't wait until he emerges again, hopefully in a new outfit (and hopefully he pushes the molt up, so I can try determine his sex - or hers).

Sym: Glad your Emilia is fine and what a lovely girl she is.
