I have never had this collor on the abdomen on my A. Geniculata when she was in premolt, and also on the bottom of the abdomen.. But i think this are premolt signs.. Am i right ?
Just looks like some hair that got rubbed off. It does happen.
Signs of premolt: Refusing food, more webbing/digging, darkening of the bald patch on the abdomen in those with urticating hairs (if there is a bald spot present), sealing off the hide, sluggishness/lethargic movement, enlarged abdomen. If your tarantula is not showing any of these signs (particularly the first), then it's likely not in premolt.
