so I just got into the hobbie of keeping tarantula and it went from having two to having now four. My friend gave me two avicularia versicolor and they are both sling he had them together but I separated them. I don’t want nothing to happen to them but I was watching video of them and I came about this video on YouTube that said they can be kept together. I want to make sure if that true.

They're not pinktoes....the article is talking about pinktoes not versicolors. Ive kept pinktoes communally and its not that easy. Its a constant ticking time bomb waiting to go off. It's not worth the risk to keep them together. Don't keep them together.

Any advice given by that idiot jungle bob and howcast should be avoided like the plague. Anyone who recommends humidity gauges, temperature gauges, sand, wood chips, heat mats, heat lamps, and sponges really needs to look into sticking to reptiles. I would advise against housing C. versicolor together, as a matter of fact i would not be comfortable housing Any Avics in a communal. Tall enclosures water dish, plants for webbing, dry substrate (top soil or coco fiber) is all that is needed.

No. Do not keep these together.

Any 'Pink Toe' species nor Caribena. These are not a communal species. Not even slightly.

It's best to not keep them together. Most don't require heat, but that can be done safely.

Here's how I keep my versicolor, who is living in luxury. He just got a roach yesterday. Turns out he's a Charles not a Charlotte, alas.
