Avicularia purpurea big sling don't eat ,on ground ..

I bring this t few months ago and he is not eating at all ,don't webing . I sprayed him couple time with water to bring him up to life. He been in norland size enclosure for size ,but I now moved him in small enclosure to try maybu he will take prey. is it anything else that I can do?

It's an arborial species (tree dwelling) It needs a piece of bark so it can climb on and use as a hide,some plant and a water dish so it doesn't get dehydrated
If you can put it into something a bit bigger you will find it easier to create the correct set up as until it feels settled and safe it will not eat - when you provide the correct set up it will make the enclosure its home :)

Okey I will put the bark there then I will see. But he haved bark in previous setup and didn't eat :) picture I post is other aboreal species's :)

Dude, that's minimalist af - nowhere for the spider to hide in that setup, it's got a popsicle stick and nothing else.

The bark or shrubbery that you use should be large enough for the spider to attach webbing and hide in for it to feel secure, and visually obscured.

Do yourself a favor and Google avicularia enclosures and skip the ones that look spartan or look at some of the threads on here in the avicularia and enclosures sections.
