Mine are all still slings or juveniles. Of these, I most hope that I can send out my P striata for breeding. He's the calmest spider I own and while a bit plain, very healthy and active.

They are a great first pokie. My experience with him is 100% positive.

I`m expecting more MM i have 14 T`s in pre molt at the moment, pretty sure at least 3 of them are gonna hook out. 2 LP`S and a Chromatus.

Im considering adding some more Damon variegatus, and getting a few of Doc's giganteous babies, I've never had any of those. I miss having weird little aliens in my collection. Whipspider feeding is still the best. Talk about awesome little creatures...that pose before the lightning fast strike is freakin wicked. Man I miss my variegatus..

Wait, it won't take long before you get more. Since you like arboreal ones, consider P pulcher which is a NW that behaves a lot like Poecilotheria species do. Or, get a very small pokie sling of one of the calmer species. They aren't a mean spider, especially P striata.

I'm not stuck on arboreals, I just thought this was a decent starter spider. I have a 10-gallon setup ready to go, so not being too choosy I'm thinking terrestrial and considering either a GBB or one of those Brazilian Pink Salmons.

I like both of your choices. I have 3 recently acquired GBB and I love them. Beautiful colors and markings at all life stages and for both sexes. Plus, one of my favorite traits: They wanna eat!

I've been reading all I can find on L. parahybana, the salmon pink bird eater, and I've got one coming tomorrow. Very excited!
