Arboreal Tarantula Suggestions

I have a Rose Hair now, and I was thinking of getting another tarantula. (I'm putting the idea of getting a cobalt blue on the back burner, at least for now.) I'm thinking about an arboreal tarantula right now. How active are they in general?

Any suggestions or stories? I was hoping for a colourful species if possible. (I like blue.)

I was looking at avicularia diversipes. Anyone have experience with this type of T?

Thanks

I have an avicularia avicularia. Dexter has to be the calmest T that I own, I can leave his enclosure wide open during cleaning and feeding, and not worry about him escaping. I touch his back legs when I want him to move, he has never shown the slightest hint of defensiveness. He isn't very active, though. And he's mostly black. I also have an avicularia versicolor, and it's more colorful than a diversipes. He is also pretty cool, but a sling and I think that's why he's more active than Dexter. Avics are a good beginner arboreal T.
I also have a Cobalt Blue, but he is TINY and I've never seen him other than his silhouette in his burrow so I can't tell you about my experience with it, but I keep hearing that h.lividums are a handful. Like the polar opposite of a rose hair. Good luck with your choice! And let us know what you end up getting! :)

I'd go for a versicolor also. They are colorful and web and more skittish. They'd rather hide then bite. There a great beginner species. I'd say stay away from the cobalt blue. They can be quite nasty and you'll rarely see it

Yes, I've had mine for weeks and I've never seen it, except for his microscopic silhouette in his burrow. /:

My versicolor made a thick hammock that covers the entire opening of his mason jar enclosure, with two tunnels that lead to the substrate. I feel lucky knowing he isn't an escape artist, because I can just open the lid and toss the cricket in without worries. My avic avic only webs when he's in pre-molt. They really are awesome T's to have, all of mine are but my avics are special to me. :) (:
