One of my earliest memories as a little boy was seeing a giant hairy spider in the yard while I was playing. I lived in West Virginia where most Ts are in pet stores. It was bigger than my HAND! I kid you not!
I got down to its level and got close to it, so I wasn't really scared, just surprised that these things lived in the wild. How did it escape the zoo? I don't know... to this day its as much a mystery as Sasquatch.
