So a sling should not be fed live food until when?

I feed them appropriately sized live food immediately. The only time I offer pre-killed, cut up food times would be if the prey item is too large for a tiny tarantula. All of the slings I've ever raised were able to take down newly hatched Blatta lateralis nymphs with no problem. These are as small as day old pinhead crickets.
