Acanthoscurria Geniculata Kiwi Butt Bald Spot: Pre-molt or Kick Spot?

Woke up this morning to see the bald spot on Ziggy on his kiwi butt. There is also a smaller patch further up too. His last molt was on 07/05/24 so I'm thinking it's way too early for another pre-molt. He's approx 9cm and I know they grow fast, but not this fast?? He did take a cricket only yesterday, so he has not refused food yet either.

If not, I'm thinking he's kicking a lot of hairs although I've never seen him kick unless I'm rehousing. I can't think of any irritants in his enclosure that would cause him to kick so restlessly.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but want to open it out to you all to understand better.

I wouldn't worry about this at all. Its hard to tell from the photo, but it doesnt look like premolt based on the size of the abdomen. Some Ts just kick more than others. Genics are also well-known to be a little fiesty, so I wouldnt doubt it if its just getting angry at shadows and kicking at them.
