Transferring A. Seemani to the enclosure after bringing home from the pet show did not go as easy as every other T.
First time we did not clear the counter, and that was not a good thing. The A. Seemani is 1.25" T. We found out fast about the speed bursts. And that getting a T away from your keurig is not the easiest thing to do
The T went under the drip tray on the keurig Coffee maker with a bolt of speed, did not want to go the direction it was being nudged to go
I decided to pull the water tank off the keurig before moving it to lower the weight. And then pull the outer drip try out. With proper setup, put another container right near A. Seemani, and gently nudged away from the keurig. A. Seemani seems to like reverse psychology and quickly bolted up the keurig and into the recess that the water tank rests into. At this point i am loving the keurig
Then we Decided to move the keurig to the bathtub. I tried a nudge to get the T out of the crevice, and again, not moving at all.
Next idea was to flood the crevice so the T would come out. Started putting water in the crack, but the T was not going to have any of that, A. Seemani would rather drown then come out. Dumped the water out of there so as not to drown the T.
Found a little Wood Cake pop skewer and with blunt end started to slowly slide it under the T. Finally success
A. Seemani was now in the tub. But the enclosure was still not what the T wanted to go in.
Found a little peice of cardboard and decided to nudge her onto it and into the new enclosure from the cardboard.
A few tries of A Seemani overshooting the cardboard with bursts of speed and the T was finally on it.
And dipped it into the new enclosure and finally achieved getting her into the enclosure.
Will have to remember that speed on the A. Seemani for future reference.
They are hiding in the enclosure right now and we are letting the T get used to it before taking some pictures.
We also transferred a 3" G. Rosea we picked up. That was easy She went exactly the right way on her own.
The new enclosure for her has slots big enough for her to stick her legs out, and she keeps going to each one and sticking her legs out.
Overall, a good exciting day. And more lessons learned
