I am getting a 1.25 inch sling and cant find anything on care. Would they be kept the same as a chalcodes, or a semanni? Does anyone own one and can help?
Ty so much I figured just like any other AlphonopelmaNote: I do not have this species yet, any information I post is summarized from a thread on AB for the most part.
From what I gather they are quite small as slings, so drsm vials are a good option, but since you're getting something slightly larger you can upgrade. As slings they like an area that is slightly moistened, but there care in general seems to be like that of the rest of the genus (dry substrate, hide and a water dish.
They are also apparently very skittish and will not hesitate to bolt during minimal tasks such as watering, on the other hand they are excellent eaters.
Think of this species as a GBB with the growth rate of a glacier.
