Getting ready to start buying enclosure supplies for a T. Blondi I plan on buying in September.

Watching a YT video, I made a list of the supplies he used to house his T. Blondi...

Here's the list :

Charcoal

Vermiculite

Soil

Reverse Osmosis Water

Spackman Peat Moss

Coconut Fiber

Cork Bark

Springtails

Dwarf White Isopods

3/16" Thick Plexiglass

While researching these things, I came across this Reddit thread stating "Not to buy Charcoal" and gave his reasons why..

Just wanted to share and get other community opinions on whether or not I should be getting charcoal for this enclosure...

If anybody sees anything else on this list that's not needed, you can let me know that too.

The cover for this enclosure is mesh, and needs to be replaced with plexiglass.

The plexiglass needs to be 3/16" thick, 35" in length, and 17 1/8" wide...

Any good resources to buy or tips to construct my own ?

Only could answer for the plexiglass part, you could get cut to size pieces on Amazon.

If you cant find them there, get a sheet on the internet. You could then cut it to spec, and drill your own air holes.

From what I'm reading, acrylic is easier to cut than plexiglass...

Can anybody point me out to a good resource for custom cut acrylic sheets ?

It's easy, just make sure to pre-mark your holes if you want them precise.

Link above that m0lsx posted will help.

Okay, I see they also charge $2.50 per drill hole... That seems a bit much.

How hard is it to drill breather holes into acrylic without breaking it ? I assume I should use my Dremel ?
Any sharpened steel drill bit will work. Just make sure it not used for concrete. Start with a small bit it makes it easier for the larger bit to get stated.

It's fairly easy with a steady hand, just measure/mark them all beforehand and you're golden.
