I went to Petco today to get a new toy for my dog. At the store I saw a tiny Mexican red knee spiderling in a HUGE enclosure. The poor thing had a giant bald spot on it's abdomen, it was probably really stressed. I wish petco would take better care of their animals, and give them proper enclosures and care. It made me really sad to see that poor tarantula.

Some Petco stores have left the spider business. I hope that trend continues. Dilemma: do you buy it and save the individual and perpetuate the problem?
