    Molt sexing. Male or Female?

Thanks everyone. I thought female too but I'm no expert.

Just rehoused my very first old world, and it was a Pokie.

Well done. I don't have any old worlds yet but I have been practicing with my Me a. I've also done quite a bit of research on poeci. I'll be getting one soon. Time to nut up or **** up I guess.

    Molt sexing. Male or Female?

Yeah, it's the best shot I could get. I also thought female. I guess I'll have to get a macro lense or a jewellers loot for next time.

    Molt sexing. Male or Female?

So my Brachyphelma albopilosum molted about a week ago and finally pushed the molt out of her/? burrow. I suspect she is a female. What do you all think?

    Tigrosa aspersa

It was in his shed on his lawn mower.

    Tigrosa aspersa

That's what I thought but I'm no expert.

    Tigrosa aspersa

Yep. Can't tell if it's male or female but it's a big one. There used to be a time where just the sight of a spider like this would have kept me awake at night. Now I'm saving it from being smashed and bringing it home.

I'm the guy that would get caught even if there was no security or customs.

    Stolen packages

Here's a simple how to video showing how to build an easier version of the glitter bomb box. I'm sure you could alter the design to fling dog poop instead of glitter.

You just had to rub it in didn't ya. I want one of these so bad. With all the tight restrictions I'm not sure I'll ever get my hands on one. Beautiful spider.

    Tigrosa aspersa

Not sure what DSL means but the spider is about 2 inches (including legs).

    Tigrosa aspersa

It is, I definitely wouldn't want to take a bite from it. Looks powerful, even though their venom isn't toxic.

    Tigrosa aspersa

Yeah it is. Very quick too. Hasn't thrown a threat pose at all though.

    Tigrosa aspersa

Are you sure? I'm not sure but it doesn't resemble the other species of wolf spider we have here in upstate NY. The other wolf spider species has stripes down the back of it's carapace.

    Tigrosa aspersa

So I was camping this weekend with some family and I got a Tigrosa aspersa (Tiger Wolf spider). I rescued it from my uncle. He hates spiders and almost smashed this one. I put it in a container and brought it home and set it up with an enclosure. Sure is a pretty looking wolf spider.

    Who's molted today

Sounds like a good excuse to me.

    Such a small Chromatopelma Cyaneopubescens

More experienced members have already answered your feeding and humidity questions but I thought I'd pass on a cool idea for a small water dish. A member on here told me that the blister packs that some pills come in work great as a tiny water dish. Just cut out one of the blisters and wash it...

Nice. Can't wait. Make sure you film it.

    Who's molted today

Nice. I wish my Brachypelma albo would molt in the open. It'd make it a whole lot easier to retrieve it's molt and get pictures.
