Changed my P. metallica enclosure out the other day. She has this nice hollow log to hide in,so when I did the change out I took her out of it in her log. Come time to place the log back in the enclosure so I have to get her out to safely place it without me getting bit, her escaping, or...
The room gets very cold at night and to help with the water evaporating to increase humidity. The nice thing is these are very small UTH pads, so they only get up to 80F from when I have used my temp gun on them.

I have a water bowl in my B. smithi enclosure and whenever I fill it with water she fills it up with soil and covers it in webbing. Every. Single. Time. Does anybody else have this happen to them as well?

The thing that was weird was that she was in her hide and then came out. But that could be her just defending her territory and maybe some grumpyness being close to molt.
She tried running up a wall during the photo shoot and I quickly caught her with my hands, not the best move but I just acted quickly. Thankfully and luckily she did not bite me and stayed relatively like that for the quick few shots I took before putting her back in her enclosure.
Every day and night I go to turn the lights on or off for my reptiles and I alwayse check up on my P. metallica, she is right near the controls for the lights, I make sure everything is good from what I can see of her enclosure and her if she is out and about.
