My male t albo juvie also has a pinkish/gold carapace! I thought nic albos usually have a more silvery black carapace compared to hondurans, but it seems like the females have that. Could this be sexual dimorphism or just the result of hybrids of this species?

I am not sure. I picked this boy up as a Nicaraguan, and the setae looks correct but we will see what the next molt looks like. I believe is he 1-2 away from pen.

A person in which had a male told me that my tarantula was of the honduran or nicaraguan type. Which one is it? My lovely tarantula by KevinsWither posted Feb 20, 2017 at 4:53 PM
