They're never common, they seem to have a much higher mortality rate than other natives, probably because they cant catch large prey like stagmomantis can, limited mostly to flies and small lepidoptera.. I got lucky and found several nymphs on a nice big rabbitbrush in heavy bloom

Lucky! The mortality rate makes sense, they seem to be a timid species. Give me a shout if you get any more nymphs. I would hop on any chance of getting natives.
