I have two of the same genius. Teddy Bear is a phormictopus auratus and Sing. They both have wildly different habits. One is bold while the other literally dug up her enclosure, made a network of tunnels, then decided to live there every 3 weeks out of 4.
I'm looking for more. I do love the colors and more or less, complacent attitudes. Neither has kicked hairs but I did get a threat pose once. It was my fault though. I gently tapped the lid on Sing's enclosure and UP they went. It was feeding day, so yeah... Kind of had to knock to let them know what I was doing. Still didn't like it. They were quickly subdued with the bribery of 2 meal worms. Both are heavy eaters and I like that. So I would absolutely recommend them. Of course I don't hold them or do much other than cleaning and sneak pictures when I can.
