First time I ever saw one of these was in Roswell New Mexico when I was a driver trainer with a major logistics company. My trainee and I where making jokes about it being a leftover from the UFO crash in the area. He thought we should keep it, but I decided against it because I was concerned that it wouldn't make the trip back to Utah. Definitely an interesting arachnadae. Looks like you have a beautiful specimen. Very nice quality picture too.
Thanks @Tnoob that’s a fascinating story and sounds like that part of your life was equally fascinating too! Wow! You are so right, I always look at them and think you are a little alien, like some strange creature made up of other animals.
So you also gave me a good idea, ones definitely called Roswell now!
Both are very nice specimens but the first I had is double the size of these guys! She’s huge! Roo and then Too, Boo and Roswell and ....?
