Wondering if I need to downsize?

Hi all,

I posted on Reddit about size etc of my slings and I've had some feedback (gratefully received) that I need to downsize my enclosure(s).

I was just wondering if any other UK keepers could point me in the right direction to a suitable alternative? And what would I use for a hide in a smaller enclosure? I'm using a half of a bamboo shoot plant pot atm (sanded down and thoroughly washed).

I'll attach some pics and the dimensions of my current enclosures and slings.

I have two slings,
A T. Verdezi that was 1-2cm when purchased (yet to molt) and a G. pulchra 2-3cm (also yet to molt). Their enclosures are L.10.5cm W 8.3cm and depth 5cm (but it's mostly full of substrate maybe 1.5cm left of space).

I've used these for slings of 3cm possibly up to 4cm for years. They're stackable and easy to put vent holes in with either a soldering iron or hot needle.

Are they pretty much escape proof? (I have young kids and a cat....and two dogs.....and a lizard so if the slings got out I wouldn't fancy their odds of survival )

The lids are pretty tight fitting so as long as you made the air holes small enough there is little chance of escape.
I have 3 cats so to be safe I keep all my tiny slings that are in those little cubes in an ExoTerra for extra security. The 30x30x30cm on holds 27 cubes so plenty room for loads more Ts and it will house an adult T when they all grow up. :D

I went shopping for salad cups. They are transparant all the way around.
And keep them in a 30*30 exo terra.
