Why does Ebay have so many taxidermy tarantulas?

I guess the people in these countries just kill them for these mounts. It is really sad. A taxidermy tarantula is cheap.

Also, they're always out on display, they don't need any maintenance, can tolerate any husbandry, and don't need to eat

They all come from the Ukraine more then likely.

The best way to avoid people killing Ts for that purpose is to stop buying them.
I personally had one my father got me when I was a child but I decided that I would make my own for my kid, especially as each T we have has a potential for many many molts…..
