Refusing food also. It has black abdomen so possible pre moult.

Hi, welcome. It might be a little easier to tell if there are any issues if you could post a pic of the enclosure and the T. Do u also have the old molt, to make sure the sucking stomach has been shed, and the age of the T could also be helpful as it could be reaching maturity.. so as you can tell there could be a few things. A little more information would be helpful. Best regards

Enclosure looks good, imo, it is looking ashy, dull. If it's hiding I'd say it's in pre molt. Keep offering water, and try a pre killed feeder next round, remove after 24 hrs if it's not eaten. But rn my guess would be premolt. I hope it does well. Keep us posted.

T Likes being by the glass so put a glass container in there, it dont come out now after a rehouse.
A lot of times after rehousing, they need time to adjust. For some species it can take a few days others weeks. It also could be making it's burrow as well. Stay patient.

Yeah, i was thinking same, abodmen is plump and looks healthy just not really coming out or making her burrow like her last one. Hopefully settles. But like the glass as not came out so just leaving it be.

Will do. As thats my best T for eating, will just keep eating

It looks good, and healthy. Just keep your eye on it, I'm sure it's enjoying the extra space above and bellow and finding the perfect spot to molt. Keep us updated.

I'm guessing that it's an Nhandu chromatus? Better to use their scientific name than common name, to avoid confusion ;)

The enclosure looks a bit big, but it should be fine. For the hide, I would avoid using a closed off cup, as it doesn't allow the spider to dig (hence the "stress pose") and rearange its home how it wants, so I would use the cork slab as the hide instead of the cup.

Who's going to knock me down? I don't sugar coat anything I say. It is well known in this group. If you don't like it you can go away.
