@Denny Dee Just watched it. Sad, but at the same time, one recognises that the jungle has to provide for these people. They wont be using my five as an appetitiser though!!!!!!!

One of my five. arrived yesterday from Poland. All have had a couple of crickets today ☺

Thanks for the spoiler. I have seen blondi's eaten before including gravid females so will psyche myself up for that in a moment. any chance of a pic of your Blondi? would love to see one that is large in a private collection. ☺

Lots of cultures eat tarantulas as appetizers or special delicacies. I find it no more disturbing than knowing some cultures also eat dog or cat ;)

Wow she is stunning. I bet she likes her new house too as she deffo outgrowing that one....lol

Thanks. I have never had a spider grow as fast as her! It has been fantastic watching it. I will get some newer photos. One of these days.....

Agree, I personally can't eat what I consider my pets, but totally realize other places don't look at things the same.
