How unprofessional and irresponsible of the caretakers, poor things! Were the owner or staff there even aware of their deaths?

So I went back to the shop to try and save one tarantula from this shop I decided to get a black earth tiger but when the bloke opened its very dry no water enclosure it bolted and now it's gone missing this place is unreal they shouldn't be allowed to keep T's so that's that it's probably got a better chance of survival now they also had a red trapdoor spider that was kept in about half inch of substrate so I rescued that I don't know much about trapdoors but it's now in a tall enclosure filled with substrate about 8 inches hope it survives gonna read up on trapdoors now

I went slack-jawed after reading your response. Can't believe that's how they're taking care of these poor Ts, and it's so generous of you having tried to rescue one of them. The red trapdoor looks insane too! Hope that he/she is doing better.

It's horrible if you love T's they got snakes and lizards all in proper enclosures it's like no one can be bothered with the spiders the trapdoor is all ready making a burrow so that's probably the last I will see of it until I feed it ☺
